Can a water coolers manufacturer add new ENERGY STAR models to a previously-qualified product family?
No, under the current ENERGY STAR Water Cooler Specification, each individual model must be tested and certified separately. Qualification based on product family is not available under this specification even if there is no difference on the energy performance between models.
